Aircraft to be Operated With and Based in Belgium
The Airbus 400M new-generation airlifter ordered by Luxembourg’s armed forces made its maiden flight on 13 April, according to an Airbus Defence & Space release dated the same day.
MSN104 made a five-hour flight from Seville, where the A400M final assembly line is located. The aircraft is scheduled to be delivered in the second quarter of 2020 and will be operated by the armed forces of Belgium and Luxembourg within a binational unit based in Belgium.
