Heating and Ventilation System for India’s New Helicopter

Liebherr-Aerospace in Toulouse has signed a contract with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) to supply the heating and ventilation system for HAL’s new Light Utility Helicopter (LUH) programme.

The LUH is an Indian indigenous multi-mission helicopter, currently in the development phase, which HAL plans to deliver the first examples of to the armed forces by this August.

The two companies have a decades-long history of close cooperation on a number of programmes, including the Do 228, the Advanced Light Helicopter and Tejas.
