LAAD 2017: IAI Displays Cutting Edge Defense Systems

Integrating strategic state-of-the-art systems for the Brazilian and Latin America market

Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) displays a variety of cutting-edge defence solutions at LAAD in Hall #4 Israeli Pavilion, booth F40. The company expects to expand collaboration with local leading companies to integrate strategic state-of-the-art systems for the Brazilian and Latin America market; with many current activities in Brazil, and a range of ongoing projects throughout Latin America, IAI offers a wide spectrum of solutions, some of them already in partnership two local strategic defence companies, IACIT and Avionics Services.

IAI Offers a wide spectrum of technological advanced systems for South America and Brazil in particular – a region we see as a strategic partner,Joseph Weiss, IAI’s President and CEO, said. “Through working in Brazil extensively for the last few years, we have been exposed to the country’s unique needs and requirements and we plan to expand our presence in Brazil by means of cooperation with local companies, long-term collaboration, joint development and production, technology transfer and technical support.”

At the exhibition, IAI presents a wide variety of strategic defense systems using interactive scenarios, presenting integrated solutions at all arenas- Air, Sea and Land. Visitors to the Booth are presented with IAI’s Air Defense Systems, advanced Observation Satellites and Synthetic Aperture Radar satellite (TecSar).A wide variety of unmanned aerial vehicles are displayed including the HERON Family, the BIRD EYE STUAS and the Hovermast 100, an electrically powered, tethered hovering system which enable a wide variety of intelligence gathering capabilities in various spheres of activity. Moreover, in the loitering-munition category, IAI features the low-cost Green Dragon, HAROP, and the “Rotem” Multi-Rotor Loitering Munitions. IAI also exhibits strategic radar systems including Persistent Ground & Coastal Surveillance Radars, Multi Mission Radars, satellite communication systems, electro-optical systems using High Definition technology, modular systems for command and surveillance. In addition, IAI also presents its advanced capabilities in the field of cyber.
