Mix of Military and Homeland Security Solutions
SK Group will present its latest offerings in small arms solution, optical sights, and ‘through-wall’ imaging systems at the upcoming LAAD exhibition in Rio de Janeiro next week.
One of the systems being introduced to the Latin American market is the XAVER 400 ‘through-wall-imaging’ system from Camero-Tech. Israel’s assistance to Turkey in the wake of recent earthquakes in the country featured extensive use of the system to locate survivors and save lives.
“After the four years in which the LAAD exhibition did not take place, we are looking forward to returning and presenting SK Group’s cutting-edge systems and solutions, which have been operationally proven, both by the IDF and by various militaries worldwide […] The Group sees Latin America as an important and strategic market, in which our systems and solutions meet the challenges facing military and paramilitary forces in modern warfare,” commented Ronen Hamudot, EVP of Marketing and Sales.
Other solutions from Group companies on show will include:
IWI: The Negev series of lightweight machineguns, the Arad series of assault rifles, the Jericho and Masada pistols and the versatile Gal riot control protective suit, which is being shown for the first time in Brazil;
Camero-Tech: the Xaver series of through-the-wall imaging systems will be a principal focus of the company’s presence at LAAD: the Xaver 100 handheld durable life signs detector, the Xaver 400 radar-based solution that offers live and static object location information from a distance of 29 metres, and the Xaver LR40 device, optimised for both urban and rural operations;
Meprolight: the Tigon thermal imaging optic, Nyx-200 multi-spectral thermal sight and the M5 and MX3-T red dot sight combination will all showcase the company’s tactical solutions.
