Latest Addition to Consortium Brings Strong Expertise and Insight

In recent weeks, Australian Missile Corporation – a wholly-owned subsidiary of NIOA, the largest Australian-owned supplier of weapons and munitions to the ADF – has announced partnerships with a variety of organisations, domestic and foreign, aimed at supporting the government’s plan to generate a sovereign guided weapons manufacturing capability.

On 9 July, AMC announced a major step forward in establishing this ‘coalition of the willing’ – the fact that L3Harris Technologies has now agreed to partner in the undertaking. L3Harris, which has over 500 employees based in Australia, is a key partner to the ADF, designing information warfare subsystems and components. It joins a growing list of Australian and international businesses to register with the AMC. The expertise of these companies, with world-leading insights, will be critical to support government as it pursues its ambitious programme for development of sovereign capability.
