$29 Million Contracts Extends Coverage 2022-2026

Kongsberg Aviation Maintenance Services (KAMS) has signed a contract with Leonardo for maintenance services for the Norwegian fleet of SAR Queen/AW101 SAR helicopters for the period 2022-2026, the company announced on 6 January.

The agreements cover logistics services to be delivered from KAMS headquarters at Kjeller, as well as maintenance services to be delivered to the SAR bases at Sola, Ørland, Bodø, Banak, Florø and Rygge, when the SAR Queen helicopters gradually replace the existing Sea Kingfleet. The contracts have a total value of approximately 260 MNOK ($29.3 million), and represent continuation of a framework agreement for maintenance services entered into in 2016.
