Markus Barner Appointed Managing Director

Kärcher Futuretech has appointed Markus Barner as Managing Director with effect from 1 July 2022, to serve alongside Thomas Popp, who has been leading the company since 2012, strengthening the company’s senior management team and instituting a dual leadership ethos.

Beginning his career in Kärcher in 2004, he has fulfilled a variety of roles in marketing, sales and product management since 2007, after completing studies at Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University. He has also recently completed an Executive Master’s degree in Family Entrepreneurship at Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen. He has been part of the company’s management team since 2015.
