Succeeds Matthew Bromberg
Pratt & Whitney appointed Jill Albertelli as President of its Military Engines business with immediate effect on 6 December.
Most recently SVP of Transformation & Strategy, Albertelli succeeds Matthew Bromberg, who will work closely with her before leaving the company at the end of the year, in order to ensure a smooth transition.
“Pratt & Whitney’s Military Engines business is well-positioned for long-term success, thanks to its technology and product offerings across a strong portfolio of major platforms such as the F-35, B-21 and KC-46 […] That momentum will continue and grow with Jill, who brings 30 years of technical and leadership excellence to the role. I’m confident the Military Engines business will continue to deliver on our customers’ high expectations,” stated Pratt & Whitney President, Chris Calio.
Albertelli brings a history of demonstrated excellence in a broad range of leadership skills, with experience in roles of increasing importance in engineering, operations, programme management, sales, commercial aftermarket and product quality. In her most recent role she oversaw digital technology, the building of Pratt & Whitney’s world-class turbine airfoil production facility, set to open next year in Asheville, NC, and led the company’s innovative Office of the Future initiative, with 80% of headquarters salaried staff afforded greater flexibility in work-remote options.
