Geodata Specialist Addresses European Opportunities, Joins ETSA
Based in southern France and fresh from having launched itself at the training and simulation community at I/ITSEC last year, geodata specialist LuxCarta is exhibiting at ITEC for the first time here in Rotterdam this week and has also joined ETSA, the European Training & Simulation Association.
The company has been targeting simulation and training opportunities with its geodata portfolio of global land use/land cover and 500+ geospecific cities and believes ETSA membership will help foster more meaningful relationships in this community. “We believe our expertise developed for the global telecom space – namely our ability to rapidly build large-area coverage of entire cities, regions and even countries – is equally applicable to the simulation and training space,” Albéric Maumy, Managing Director of LuxCarta, explained. “We had a positive response at last year’s I/ITSEC exhibition. We’re continuing to learn about the specific needs and requirements of this community and we’re investing in our R&D and marketing to participate in a larger way.”
LuxCarta focuses on the creation and delivery of geodata for the global telecom, simulation & training and other vertical markets. As experts in cartography and software development, it specialises in delivering quality fit-for-purpose products and services to non-specialist and expert end users. The telecom offering includes the PLANNER geodata product line for RF planning and optimization, as well as SpacEyes3D visualisation software and related services.
