ISDEF’s 10th Birthday

Evolution and Expansion

Celebrating its 10th iteration, the Israel Security and Defence Expo (ISDEF) now offers visitors the widest array of counter-terror, homeland security and cyber defence systems on display in Israel.

ISDEF 2019 has exhibitors from more than 30 countries, registered visitors from nearly 90 and an official Indian Pavilion, backed by the Indian Ministry of Defence, for the first time. It is also the first time that the Israel Intelligence Heritage & Commemoration Centre (IICC) held its annual International Intelligence Conference at ISDEF. Other international firsts include first-time China and US pavilions as well as a return of the Czech Republic Pavilion.

ISDEF has the official support of Israel’s defence, police and security ministries, including the Ministry of Economy. After two busy days of meetings and presentations, this is certainly the best ISDEF to date. There will be what might be termed a ‘bonus’ ISDEF in 2020, at an international location yet to be announced, followed by ISDEF 2021, 1-3 June.

As threats to peace and security rapidly evolve, governments are looking for holistic solutions to adapt to threats and ensure public safety and national security. ISDEF brings together the most advanced technologies, products and innovations to enable you to detect, deter and mitigate and prepare for current and future threats. This event is for and about you,” commented ISDEF Managing Director, Jonas Zolkén.
