Rugged and Flexible, Available in Two Configurations
Meprolight, a member of the SK Group, has been showcasing its MEPRO NYX-200 all-in-one weapon sight to visitors to its booth at ISDEF 2019 in Tel Aviv this week.
Featuring an uncooled thermal channel combined with a sensitive, high-resolution digital day/night camera and an integrated infrared pointer, the NYX-200 has generated considerable interest during the show, according to the company. Developed in response to the constantly increasing challenges of modern warfare, the sight was created to improve situational awareness, enabling rapid target acquisition in any lighting conditions and in any environment, while minimising the weight issues traditionally associated trawithditional carrying of an array of systems, sensors and equipment and simultaneously increasing mission effectiveness.
The NYX-200 is available in two configurations: thermal channel with digital night camera (DNC) or thermal channel with digital day camera. The DNC combination enhances situational awareness with an optimised view at any level of darkness in any environment. The thermal channel can be used in total darkness, penetrating fog or camouflage, for instance. The sight’s digital night vision is optimised for Close Quarters Battle (CQB) and facial recognition. The optional integrated IR pointer supports various tactical scenarios, including CQB and covert night operations.
MEPRO NYX-200 was designed and manufactured to the most stringent military standards, including MIL-810, to assure years of reliable operation under all field and environmental conditions.
