Inzpire Delivers GECO for UK Cockpit Situational Awareness

Over 400 GECO Now Delivered Worldwide

Inzpire has now completed deliveries of its Graphical Electronic Cockpit Organiser (GECO) to the UK Ministry of Defence in support of the Cockpit Situational Awareness Tool (CSAT) programme.

Since the company won the competitive tender for CSAT in May, it has delivered GECO systems and associated operator training for personnel based at Wattisham, Middle Wallop, Odiham, Culdrose, Akrotiri and Brunei. The system supports the APACHE, CHINOOK, MERLIN and Bell helicopter forces in UK service.

Designed to enhance mission safety through a suite of safety and aircrew assistance applications, GECO increases mission effectiveness through the provision of situational awareness and decision assistance applications, whilst offering outstanding value for money by using commercial off the shelf hardware solutions where appropriate. There are over 400 GECO systems in service with the Royal Navy, Army Air Corps and the Royal Air Force, along with overseas customers including the Royal Jordanian and Indonesian Air Forces.
