Communications and Hearing Protection Solutions Delivered by September
INVISIO’s newly-awarded General Services Administration (GSA) contract is already paying dividends. The company announced on 8 April it has won an SEK111 million (€10.6 million) contract from a new US Department of Defense (DoD) customer.
The order includes INVISIO communications and hearing protection solutions and will be delivered during April-September 2019. The company now has a broad range of control units to suit all the needs of both the military and law enforcement sectors, ranhging from the single communications source V10 to the Quad-Com V60. Senior Vice President, Global Sales & Marketing, Carsten Aagesen, explains that this enables the company to provide the best, tailored fit for operator needs and usage while still retaining the advantages of being a commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) solution, which in turn helps the efforts to meet the varying budget issues experienced by NATO and NATO-friedly users. “With this technology available, we see almost all professional users no longer wanting to compromise on their ability to communicate seamlessly in loud noise while being adequately hearing-protected and not compromising on the quality of the hear-thru or, in other words, their auditory situational awareness,” he told MON.
“INVISIO’s systems are world leading in its segment and with this order we are strengthening our position further. We are particularly satisfied that this order was received through our newly-awarded GSA contract,” commented company CEO, Lars Højgård Hansen.
