Acknowledges Increasing Defence Role Played by Spain

Indra is to be the Global Sponsor for FEINDEF 2023, the international defence and security exhibition scheduled to take place in Madrid on 17-19 May 2023. Indra’s initiative recognises the event’s global importance at a time of increasing instability driving a European need for contributing to international peace and security.

“An event like FEINDEF promotes the international projection of the Spanish industry and, in our case, it is an opportunity to consolidate Indra’s role as a strategic company for the construction of the Europe of Defence. The support to this exhibition is decisive to position our country in the large international consortiums that develop the technologies that will mark the future, in which Indra plays a decisive role, with participation in almost 40 of them and as leader of some of the most important ones,” stated Indra CEO Ignacio Mataix.

FEINDEF 2023 will have exhibition space of almost 40,000m2, over 450 exhibitors from 20 countries and more than 100 international delegations, exceeding the achievements of previous iterations. It provides an example of public-private collaboration, as one a principal meeting point in which scientists, academics, government and industry professionals, national armed forces and security forces, public and private organisations can share information, knowledge and experience and exchange ideas on the latest technological trends. It is the only such exhibition in Spain institutionally supported by the MoD and is recognized as the nation’s most important defence and security event.
