First-timers at IMDEX Asia

Amongst the first-timers at IMDEX Asia, the following equipment caught the attention of MONS:

Baglietto Navy Shipyard showcased one of its recent units, the FFC15, a 15m aluminium fast patrol boats with water-jet drive.

Ferretti Security & Defence (FSD) displayed some of its fast patrol craft, such as the FDS 350 and FDS 195 designs.

Intermarine S.p.A., a world leader in Fibre Reinforced Plastic (FRP) technology construction of mine countermeasure vessels, displayed models of their “Lerici,” “Osprey,” and “Katanpaa” -class platforms. The company constructed MCMVs for the Australian, Italian, Malaysian, Nigerian, and US Navies, and more recently the three ship strong “Katanpaa” class MCMVs for the Finnish Navy. Moreover Intermarine is also well known for its Fast Patrol Boats, built in composite material or in aluminum.

IMI Systems exhibited its all-weather TRIGON long-range autonomous ship-to-shore rocket launcher, the ACCULAR 12 precision rocket, and the WAVE300 remotely controlled fully stabilised naval weapon station.
