Integration With ALIS Improves Logistics Outcomes
Belgian software developer Ilias Solutions, working in collaboration with Lockheed Martin and the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), has successfully integrated data from the service’s F-35 fleet into the Ilias Defense Platform, enabling a modern user interface and providing an intuitive set of fleet management visualisations, planning, scheduling, and decision-making tools.
This translation effort will enhance and improve the RAAF’s current processes for managing not only the current F-35 fleet, but also associated critical assets such as simulators and support equipment. The team’s advanced software integration skills also future-proofed the solution, allowing the RAAF to continue improving performance while expanding the fleet and manage future ODIN implementation.
The F-35 Fleet Management Solution integrates data between the Ilias platform and the F-35 Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS), to enable detailed insights into the past, current, and future state of the fleet, while also improving the use of ALIS in maintenance execution. These insights allow the RAAF to perform sovereign fleet data analysis and determine the next best action to improve aircraft availability. Lockheed-Martin and ILIAS continuously expand the current ALIS-ILIAS data interface to meet emerging customer requirements and introduce new technology.
The F-35 Fleet Management implementation milestone is built upon decades of cooperation between the two companies and their combined expertise in manufacturing and sustainment of state-of-the-art aircraft. Together, Lockheed Martin and Ilias support operational assets in order to maximise fleet performance while minimizing the logistics footprint.
