New FALCON Net Ecosystem system of software + more

Harris is featuring several innovative systems at IDEX 2019.

The new FALCON Net Ecosystem system of software, hardware and services is being announced at the show, bringing together the entire network of capabilities needed for tactical force modernisation, encompassing the entire ecosystem of connected communications including: radios, waveforms, mobility command, command and control and network management. All tiers across the battlefield are connected under the ecosystem.

In 2017 the UAE awarded Harris an integrated battle management system (BMS) contract under the Emirates Command & Control System (ECCS) Land Tactical System (ELTS) programme.

Harris is also featuring its T7 Multi-Mission Robotic System, a Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) robot, at IDEX, which has simple to use human-like controls to handle the most delicate situations and allow the operator feel what the robot feels and perform dangerous tasks remotely, without putting themselves or others in harm’s way. The UK Ministry of Defence just received its first delivery of these robots.
