SMASH 2000 Plus and SMASH HOPPER on Offer
Smart Shooter is one of the growing number of Israeli companies taking advantage of the Abraham Accords to exhibit at IDEX 2021 in Abu Dhabi later this month, showcasing its SMASH technology and the associated ‘one shot, one hit’ capability. Among the solutions on show will be the SMASH 2000 Plus fire control system and SMASH HOPPER light remote-controlled weapon station (LRCWS).
SMASH is a combat-proven fire control solution that ensures each round finds its target. Its ‘one shot, one hit’ capability allows the operator to quickly and effectively neutralize any ground or airborne target, manned or unmanned. It is a cost-effective solution that can be integrated onto any type of assault rifle to increase lethality while reducing collateral damage.
SMASH 2000 Plus includes the full feature set, with an additional advanced counter-UAS mode, providing a ‘hard kill’ capability against drones or any static or moving ground targets. Designed to give users a decisive tactical edge, SMASH 2000 Plus is ideal for defence, security and law enforcement applications.
SMASH Hopper is a modular, rapidly deployable LRCWS, weighing some 15kg and ideally suited for light platforms engaged in a wide variety of missions. Offering day and night capability with automatic scanning and target detection, SMASH Hopper caters for multiple missions in the military and security domains.
The system brings “precision-missile targeting algorithms and advanced electro-optical processing capabilities into standard infantry [tactics.] SMASH ultimately revolutionizes the world of small arms,” according to company CEO, Michal Mor. Smart Shooter fire control solutions are operational with a variety of forces, including the Israeli Defence Force and US special forces.
