EW, AI, Machine Learning and Cyber Capabilities on Show
2021 is a year of anniversaries for Elettronica. The company is celebrating its 70th birthday – and 30 years of partnership with the UAE’s armed forces.
Delivering its first EW systems to the Emirati armed forces in the 1990s, the company has been instrumental in the forces’ ability to field some of the most sophisticated EW capabilities in the region. The last three decades has seen the UAE face its share of security challenges. Elettronica has worked hard with its Emirati counterparts to ensure that personnel, ships, vehicles and aircraft are strongly protected by state-of-the-art EW systems, saving lives and protecting platforms.
At IDEX 2021 in Abu Dhabi, Elettronica is celebrating its partnership with and commitment to the Emirates, and will be exhibiting a full range of its EW products and artificial intelligence, machine learning and cyber solutions. Focused on helping regional actors prosecute the fight against unauthorised drones, the company’s ADRIAN counter-UAS system will be displayed. Naval EW capabilities and the EDGE escort jammer for protection of airborne platforms will also be prominent.
