IDEX 2021: Al Jasoor Launches RABDAN 6×6

Flexible, Adaptable, Survivable

Al Jasoor, an EDGE Platform & Systems cluster company, launched the RABDAN 6×6 variant of its successful 8×8 armoured vehicle at IDEX 2021 on 24 February.

A new-generation, amphibious armoured vehicle with superior tactical and technical characteristics, the RABDAN 6×6 features flexible firepower capability and modular structural design; it is uniquely positioned to cater to current and future operational requirements of military and security authorities in the GCC region and beyond.

With the safety and survivability of soldiers remaining a top priority for AL JASOOR, the new-generation platform boasts a flexible ballistic protection capability with a modular add-on armour system. It is also equipped with an automatic fire suppression system to offer the highest levels of safety for crew in challenging circumstances.

Adaptability makes RABDAN an ideal solution for a range of high- to low-intensity missions. The platform boasts maximum driving stability in extreme off-road conditions, as well as a high degree of amphibious capability at combat weight. The commonality and interchangeability amongst the RABDAN variants reduce the logistic footprint for fleet owners. In addition, the vehicle features an open electronic architecture for the seamless integration of C4I and other future systems.

Featuring high commonality with our signature 8×8 platform, the amphibious 6×6 drives down cost for our clients, meets modern warfare requirements, and optimises value for all operational requirements,” declared Al Jasoor CEO, Fahad Al Absi.
