Large German delegation to attend
More than 50 leading companies of the German defence and security industry will showcase their products on the largest German Pavilion at IDEX and NAVDEX to date.
The exhibition takes places in the state-of-the-art ADNEC exhibition centre in Abu Dhabi 19-23 February 2017.
The Federal Ministry of Defence underlines the significance of this international leading and renowned defence exhibition by sending the Inspector of the Navy, Vice Admiral Andreas Krause to represent Federal Minister of Defence Ursula von der Leyen.
Lieutenant General Frank Leidenberger – Commander DEU Elements MN Corps / Basic Military Organisation at the German Army Headquarter – will represent the Inspector General of the Bundeswehr.
In addition, Robert Hochbaum, Member of the Bundestag announced his visit.
Under the banner of “German Defence Technology,” the German companies display their capabilities and innovative technological competence to international experts on over 4.000 square metres.
As a tri-service exhibition, IDEX and NAVDEX focus on the key areas of:
- Defence technology for army, navy and air force
- C4ISR – command and control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance
- Light and heavy weaponry, ammunition and guided missiles
- Aerial defence
- Armoured and unarmoured vehicles
- Navy vessels
- Fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircrafts
- Sensor systems
- Equipment and components
For almost 30 years, the Munich based company CCO Creative Consulting GmbH coordinates the German Pavilions in close cooperation with the BDSV Exhibitions on the most important defence and security exhibitions all over the world.
