Modular charges and Base bleed for 155mm artillery systems: EURENCO is well-known for its know-how in key technologies for high performance 155mm artillery systems including Nexter’s CAESAR and Kraus-Maffei Wegmann’s (KMW) PzH-2000. “Our ‘combat proven’ modular charges already used by Middle-Eastern customers provide final users with quick and easy firing,” the company said. “More than 1,3 million modules have been manufactured to date and EURENCO will commission a new automated production line in 2017. EURENCO is also manufacturing Base Bleed grains for drag reduction of 155mm extended range ammunition. Our modern production line relies on the thermoplastic technology which provides excellent mechanical properties and is well-suited for complex shapes.”
High quality propellants for small calibre ammunition: According to EURENCO, it owns two of the world’s best propellant brands: BOFORS POWDERS & PB CLERMONT. They provide the leading brands of military ammunition with high quality extruded and spherical powders in calibres 5,56mm, 7,62mm, 12,7mm and others. “EURENCO has the largest production capacity in Europe (>2500t/year) and offers innovative technologies such as our new TZ temperature stable propellants,” the company continued.
High Explosives for Bombs & Warheads: EURENCO is a partner for IM warheads, bombs and penetrators thanks to its large production capacities of High Explosives (HE) molecules and compositions (RDX, HMX, NTO), as well as its cutting-edge Cast-PBX technology for the design and filling of insensitive HE charges. New generation plastic explosives: HEXOMAX is EURENCO’s new RDX-based plastic explosive block designed for military applications, such as breaching, cutting and explosive ordnance disposal. It is “combat proven” with the French Armed Forces, providing high detonation performance and outstanding malleability.
