IDET 2025 provided a relevant opportunity to meet professionals from across the security and defence sectors
Mehler Protection participated in IDET 2025, held from 28 to 30 May in Brno, Czech Republic. As a manufacturer of ballistic protection systems for defence and law enforcement applications, the company presented a focused selection of personal protection solutions at this year’s edition of the International Defence and Security Technologies Fair.
The HYVE vest returned to the spotlight as part of Mehler Protection’s growing portfolio. Built for operational flexibility, HYVE is a lightweight waistcoat tailored for law enforcement and security personnel. Its modular design, ergonomic fit, and quick-release system make it well-suited to a wide range of operational scenarios.
Also presented was the M.U.S.T. System (Modular Universal Scalable Technology), developed for military special operations. The system allows users to build protection levels using various components – such as base vests, collars, and ballistic inserts – offering scalable coverage up to VPAM 9.
In addition to these modular systems, Mehler Protection’s product display included riot control equipment, plate carriers, ballistic shields, helmets, and hard and soft ballistic plates. All items are tested in accordance with international standards and developed with end-user needs in mind.
