One Location, Three Related Exhibitions

In the Czech city of Brno this morning the 14th edition of the bi-annual IDET Central and East European defence exhibition got under way. Co-located with IDET are two further exhibitions: PYROS (in its 18th edition), focused on fire-fighting equipment and ISET (9th edition) dealing with security and police forces and their requirements.

A total of 518 exhibitors from 31 countries have gathered in Brno for the three events, with 390 of them exhibiting in the main IDET fair. The region’s major countries are unsurprisingly strongly represented – including the Visegrad Four (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia) – but Turkey is also prominent, being the event’s official partner nation.

IDET continues until Friday 2 June and the security exhibitions until 3 June, when the general public are invited to participate.
