Highest Level of Indigenous Content in its Class
Designed and developed using its own resources, the FNSS PARS SCOUT vehicle features enhanced situational awareness, high levels of comfort for occupants and is ideally suited to reconnaissance and surveillance missions. The company will showcase the vehicle during IDEF 2021 in Istanbul this week.
The first class of 6×6 and 8×8 armoured vehicles to enter the inventory of the Turkish armed forces through the medium of the Special Purpose Vehicle contract between FNSS and the Presidency of Defence Industries, PARS SCOUT has been designed as a modular platform, sufficiently flexible to be easily reconfigured in line with future evolving requirements. Particular effort has been focused on ensuring the highest possible degree of indigenous content throughout the supply chain: FNSS considers the programme to be “an exemplary project in collaboration within the defence industry ecosystem,” claiming it shows the “highest localisation rate in its class.”
