From Armoured Vehicles and Platform Maintenance to ELINT Systems
At IDEB 2022 in Bratislava, 10-12 May, Patria will showcase a wide range of state-of-the-art defence solutions and lifecycle support services for both the land and air domains. A number of specific exhibits will attract visitor attention.
Patria is to offer the Slovak armed forces with armoured vehicles for the BOV 8×8 programme, contributing to the creation of new jobs and preparing for wide-scale technology transfer and local manufacturing. Although for Slovakia the Patria AMVXP will be provided with an EVPU 30mm turret, at IDEB the vehicle will feature Elbit Systems’ MT30MK2 manned turret, to emphasize the platform’s versatility.
Lifecycle services cover maintenance support to multiple platforms, including the UH-60M Black Hawks and F-16s that will constitute the Slovak military’s core platforms over the coming decades. The company’s lifecycle services are typically provided in collaboration with local partners, thus ensuring domestic industrial development, in-country readiness and security of supply.
The Patria Strategic Partnership Concept enables a trusted and close co-operation between industry and defence in times of peace, crisis and, ultimately, war. The concept is delivered to defence forces in concert with Patria’s local partners, ensuring local industrial capability creation in the long-term and assuring security of supply.
MUSCL is a passive radar system providing resilient, covert and easily-deployable air surveillance in standalone or networked modes. It provides affordable area and point surveillance for applications such as military air surveillance, border control, critical infrastructure protection and drone detection.
ARIS and ARIS-E are remotely operable ELINT systems for interception, recording and analysis of today’s increasingly complex signal environment. CRAWLR is a cyber intelligence software product, providing discrete, targeted information-gathering from a wide range of sources, including websites, social media and the dark web.
Patria’s CANDL provides a single datalink solution for secure communications requiring high reliability, such as UAS payload data and C2. It enables air-to-air and air-to-ground ad hoc networking, as well as relay for BLOS capability, thus enabling capabilities such as MUMT [Manned Unmanned Teaming] and LVC [Live Virtual Constructive] training.
The SONAC DTS is an ASW sonar system offering both active and passive modes of operation, with two separate wet-end sub-systems, VDS and TAS, which can be used simultaneously. The SONAC ACS acoustic mine sweep is specifically designed for sweeping influence mines with advanced acoustic triggering. Its compact, lightweight size is designed for use with unmanned craft.
