Leaves Legacy of Reform and Transformation
Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) announced on 1 July that Nimrod Sheffer, the company’s CEO, is stepping down after two years in the role.
A retired Major General in the Israeli Defence Force, Sheffer (59) spent 36 years as a combat pilot and served as Head of the Planning Division in his last role before leaving the military. He joined IAI as VP of Strategic Planning, becoming CEO after six months in that role.
During his tenure as CEO, Sheffer has introduced a series of reforms and transformations and has drafted a growth strategy and a business plan that have yielded excellent business results for IAI in the past six quarters.
