Focus on Operational Information and Decision Support Tools
Nexter will be presenting its integrated, interactive digital solutions for optimising operational readinesss at I/ITSEC 2019 in Orlando this week.
Operational information systems, ground robots, decision support tools, tactical vehicle trainers for mounted combat and helmets connected for dismounted combat can all be used individually or in an interconnected mode, for both operational engagement and simulated training. Nexter is therefore presenting a global operational preparation system at I/ITSEC 2019, consisting of the following elements:
• FINDMP – a digital sand box dedicated to tactical thinking, used for mission planning and operations management. It can be connected to an operational information system and a tactical trainer;
• Tactical trainer – a virtual trainer for crew members, equipped with an innovative augmented reality helmet, allowing reproduction of a virtual environment through head-up displays. Connected to FINDMP, this simulator allows crews to acquire the know-how required to use real weapon systems.
• FINDERS C2 – an operational information system for combat units up to battalion level, which allows users to plan, track and share manoeuvres in real time throughout entire chain of command: tactical information (orders, reports, requests) and reference tactical situation (friends, enemies, terrain, logistics);
• FINDADFI – a system consisting of a modular exo-helmet (adaptable to any type of existing helmet without modification) equipped with functional modules (plug and play) coupled to a display. This system is designed to provide tactical information to the platform commander or the dismounted soldier.
