Rheinmetall showcases innovative new solutions in the field of simulation & training
Premiering at I/ITSEC 2016, on booth #1000 is Rheinmetall’s first driving simulator to combine high-end Rheinmetall simulation technology with readily available commercial visualisation software. This demonstrator makes it possible to simulate complex traffic flows and situations in an urban environment, bringing these together in a highly realistic depiction.
Live simulation is another major focal point. Among other things, the Simulation & Training business unit of Rheinmetall Defence Electronics will be presenting LEGATUS, a versatile modular system.
Moreover, visitors to I/ITSEC can learn about other made-to-measure, high-performance solutions such as the simulation technology for the Embraer KC390 transport plane, the Cargo Hold Trainer Enhanced (CHT-E) for the A400M transport aircraft, and advanced combat and gunnery simulators for the LEOPARD 2 main battle tank.
