3D Models for CASE Programme
In Orlando next week, Simthetiq will be profiling its September win of a three year contract from the Canadian Department of National Defence to provide 3D models to the Canadian Advanced Synthetic Environment (CASE) programme.
CASE was created with the goal of providing a distributed simulation environment that enables and supports the linking of simulators and simulation centres from various branches of the Canadian Forces in order to achieve combined, collaborative training. Simthetiq’s openflight, DIS/HLA compliant model content will be integrated into CASE-enabled training systems, which use Diamond Visionics’ GENESIS RTX image generator.
To be used in national and international training activities, the 3D models will be taken from Simthetiq’s extensive library, but the company will also provide on demand services for model configuration and development.
Elsewhere in the Orange County Convention Centre, the company will be teaming with TrianGraphics and RT Dynamics to showcase the powerful results stemming from collaboration.
