New Components for FREESPEAK II and MERCURY ES
As much as any other branch of the military, training and simulation requires secure, accessible, easy-to-use and robust communications. Clear-Com is exhibiting new components for its flagship FREESPEAK II digital wireless communications system and the MERCURY ES audio interoperability platform at I/ITSEC 2916 in Orlando. MERCURY ES supports and integrates network-based VoIP connections across different domains and levels of security.
The new FREESPEAK II base station enables up to 25 full-duplex users to roam and remain connected in large wireless coverage zones: the antennae can be located over 65,000ft from the base station and have been proven in harsh conditions and a broad temperature operating range.
MERCURY ES (from Clear-Com subsidiary Trilogy Communications) has been designed for applications calling for collection, analysis and distribution of intelligence from a variety of VoIP sources. Central access and monitoring from a single point, regardless of individual source security levels, connects teams and commanders in remote locations or spread through diverse environments.
