IOSONO CORE Promotes Deeper Trainee Engagement

Barco will launch the newest member of its 4K UHD laser phosphor projector family at I/ITSEC 2016 on 28 November. Featuring longer lifetime, ultra-high image quality and extreme robustness, the projector will be integrated into a dome screen provided by 3D Perception, using CAE’s Medallion-6000 image generator to highlight its 4K UHD capabilities.

Also on show will be the IOSONO CORE immersive audio processor, demonstrating the powerful teaching potential of immersive audio in the training environment. Creating a customised sound field perfectly synchronised to the on-screen display and powered with a built-in VR capability, the system elevates trainee sensory experience and promotes deeper individual engagement. Real-time rendering enables instructors to position sounds relative to the trainee, even when they cannot be seen on-screen.

Barco solutions will also be seen on several partner booths throughout the exhibition, including CAE, Immersive Display Solutions, 3D Perception, and the Air National Guard Trainer Development booth.
