Expands Ability to Provide Leading-Edge Solutions

Huntington Ingalls Industries announced on 19 August it has completed the acquisition of Alion Science and Technology from Veritas Capital.

Alion provides advanced engineering and R&D services in the areas of ISR, military training and simulation, cyber and data analytics, as well as other next-generation technology-based solutions to the global defence marketplace. Alion has over 3,200 employees, of whom 80+% maintain security clearances.
