Technology Network Unites Industry and Research
HENSOLDT’s head of technology sales, Klaus P Hruschka, has been appointed to the board of trustees at the prestigious Fraunhofer Institute for Communication, Information Processing and Ergonomics in Bonn-Wachtberg (FKIE), the sensor specialist announced on 24 June.
As a leading institute for application-oriented research and practical innovation, FKIE works in close cooperation with strategic partners throughout the data and information processing chain. The board of trustees meets once a year and advises management on technical direction and structural changes for the institute.
HENSOLDT has worked in a trusted capacity for years, not only with FKIE, but also with other Fraunhofer organisations such as the Fraunhofer Institute for High Frequency Physics and Radar Technology (FHR) and the Fraunhofer Institute for Optronics, Systems Engineering and Image Exploitation (IOSB), as well as the German Aerospace Centre (DLR).
Klaus Hruschka is also Chairman of the Security Committee of the German Federal Association of Security and Defence Industries (BDSV), a member of the Expert Group on Innovation Gain and an active member of the R&T Committee, as well as being a member of the Board of Trustees of the Carl Cranz Society.
