World’s First 7kg Electric UAS with Endurance of 10 Hours
H3 Dynamics, Singapore, has revealed the HYWINGS hand-launched UAS, capable of flight durations of up to 10 hours and ranges in excess of 500 kilometres.

With take-off weight of 7kg, HYWINGS offers operators reduced costs through rapid coverage of large areas and requires no infrastructure such as catapault launchers or runways. The company sees the current UAS as a step towards future capability of 50-80 hour mission endurance. HES Energy Systems, an H3 Dynamics subsidiary, has spent over a decade developing aerospace-grade fuel cell technology, which can be 3-5 times lighter than lithium batteries and is designing small, portable refueling systems that could replenish 1kWh storage tanks – enough to fly HYWINGS for 6 hours.
