DATA ALCHEMY Will Render Encrypted Data Unusable by Unauthorised Parties On 27 March, defence electronics manufacturer Getac and data protection specialist Trivalent announced a partnership aimed at providing next-generation data protection capabilities on rugged computing devices for the first time.
Already widely used in defence, security and law enforcement applications, Getac’s notebooks, tablets and handheld devices routinely handle and process highly sensitive data. Incorporating Trivalent’s data protection technology – including its unique DATA ALCHEMY, which rendrs data completely unusable by unauthorised parties, Getac is strengthening its commitment to providing the most advanced data protection technology currently available. Trivalent’s solutions have been approved by the US National Security Agency.
“Getac’s partnership with Trivalent further differentiates our rugged devices and our commitment to customer safety and security in a highly competitive marketplace,” said Rowina Lee, Vice President of Global Sales & Business Development Centre. “Getac devices will be the first in the rugged industry to offer next-generation data protection, providing the most secure platform for our customers.”
