New Appointments Address Growing Business Demand
Montreal-based providers of IP video surveillance, access control and license plat recognition solutions, Genetec, announced an expansion of its European operations on 27 March as the company addresses what it describes as “growing business demand.”
The new European headquarters occupies three floors of a central Paris building with room for the expected rapid growth and facilities for engineering, sales, training and support functions.
Simultaneously two new senior appointments are announced. Cyrille Becker, most recently General Manager at Genetec partner Stanley France, is appointed General Manager Europe. Jos Beernink, who joins from Honeywell, becomes VP Sales Europe, Africa & Middle East.
“With the strategic appointments of Mr. Beernink and Mr. Becker, and our expanded European headquarters in Paris, we are well positioned to address the rapid business growth that Genetec has experienced over the past years, and meet the needs for physical security across the many different vertical markets we serve in Europe,” observed Genetec’s Chief Commercial Officer, Georges Karam.
