Custom Hardware/Software Implementation for Complex Space Systems
General Atomics has acquired Tiger Innovations, Inc., of Herndon, VA, the company announced on 1 February.
Tiger Innovations, specialised in development of spacecraft and space-related systems, will be integrated into the General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems (GA-EMS) group. Its advances in satellite systems and extensive experience in custom hardware and software implementation complement the existing GA-EMS’ portfolio of advanced space systems and technologies

Founded in 1997, Tiger Innovations has comprehensive experience in specialty software, hardware, and computer architecture design and implementation. It specialises in the application of hardware and software design for real-time embedded systems in, for example, spacecraft and long-range airborne communication and control processors, custom software product integration for multiple workstations, and the development of satellite systems and support components.
