Kongsberg wins contract to upgrade worth NOK 313 million
Kongsberg Defence Systems has entered into agreement with the Norwegian Defence Material Agency (NDMA) to update the Combat Management System and the Active Sonar System of the FRIDTJOF NANSEN-class frigates.
The contract value is NOK313 million and will be delivered over four years. Kongsberg has supplied the anti-surface and anti-submarine warfare systems based on Kongsberg`s Combat Management System architecture and integrated with the AEGIS Combat System. Kongsberg has conducted update and maintenance activities regularly since the class was introduced. This contract extends the lifetime of the systems.
