Order Value to Saab $42 Million

The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) has awarded a contract to Saab for operational and development support for the GRIPEN combat aircraft. Total order value to Saab is SEK375 million (U$42.5 million). 

The contract covers the operation of rigs, simulators and test aircraft for the verification and validation of the GRIPEN C/D and GRIPEN E fighter aircraft systems, plus operational support for GRIPEN C/D. Saab’s operations in Linköping, Gothenburg, Järfälla and Arboga will be the principal locations concerned with conduct of the required work.
