Multi-purpose night vision monocular
At SHOT Show 2018 on booth #621, FLIR Systems showcases a variety of thermal and night vision products for the tactical and outdoor markets, featuring new products, and existing FLIR and Armasight product portfolios.
FLIR is expanding its Armasight by FLIR night vision lineup with new monocular and binocular families with hand, weapon or helmet mounted options. Each family is available with Generation 2 or 3 night vision technology and multiple lens configurations, including an upgraded 19mm lens that offers a 51-degree field-of-view (FOV) for 25% more viewing area. All models include manual gain control, up to 40 hours of run time from a single AA alkaline or CR123 battery and feature a flip-up-turn-off, flip-down-turn-on design when mounted to a helmet.
The Armasight by FLIR MNVD is a multi-purpose night vision monocular, which can be hand held and head-, helmet- or weapon mounted. With its FOV, it provides a large visual field without needing to move the monocular. At approx. 0.31kg (0.7lbs), 109x49x73mm (4.3×1.9×2.8in), the MNVD uses advanced multi-coated optics and is built to last with a tough, ergonomic composite housing that is water and fog resistant. This product is ITAR controlled.
