$76 Million Order for Delivery by 2026

Saab has received an order from Finland for the RBS 70 surface-to-air missile system, valued at approx. SEK800 million (US$76 million), for delivery 2023-2026.

Finland will receive the latest version of RBS 70 missile – the Bolide – which enables engagement with armoured airborne targets and drones. The missile will be used with Finland’s current RBS 70 systems, which have been in in service for over 15 years. In Finland the system is referred to as ITO05 and ITO05M (Ilmatorjuntaohjus 05).

The RBS 70’s market penetration currently stands at over 1,600 launchers and 18,000 missiles, delivered to 19 nations.
