UxV Operating in Combination for Integrated Effect
IMCO Group is presenting its portfolio at FIDAE for the first time, partnering with Steadicopter and aiming to open new markets and find new customers.
The company is showing a scalable tactical terrain dominance solution, with which the control of a small portion of a tactical area of responsibility (AoR) can be fully automated. Depending on the terrain and mission different kinds unmanned vehicles can be combined – airborne, ground- or sea-based – each with its specific payload of sensors or effectors. The system can also integrate other unattended sensors.
All data are controlled, collected and integrated in the Situational Awareness Video System (SAVS), which can be located in an HQ or a command vehicle. Unmanned vehicles and systems from third parties can also be integrated.
Presented at the show are: the eVTOL UAV ARC 1000 (payload 2.5kg, 2 hours endurance); UAV Micro Falcon (endurance 3+ hours, long range, manportable by one man); UAV ICON (endurance 90 minutes, range 10+ km); and the UGV Cheetah (weight 300kg, payload 1 tonne). The system is extremely scalable and flexible, able to adapt to mission needs. And it can be controlled manually or completely automatically, although there is always a man in the loop to decide on the use of effectors.
The UAV Micro Falcon is used by three NATO countries already.
