Technological Innovation, Modern Aircraft & Impressive Air Show
More than 500 exhibitors, almost 120 aircraft and approx. 50 countries gather today at the main Aerospace, Defence and Security Fairs of Latin America (FIDAE), to be held 3-8 April in the north of the International Airport Arturo Merino Benitez. More than 120.000 visitors are expected to arrive to experience novelties from the aeronautical world, which will have the presentations of a series of civil and military aircraft, aerobatic parachuting teams, among other attractions.
Among the innovations presented at FIDAE, for the first time a thematic pavilion exclusively dedicated to unmanned aerial aircraft (RPAs, UAVs and drones), highly regarded within the civil and defence sectors, is presented. In addition, the show of a B-52, the A400M and the static exhibition of the most modern American fighter, the F-35 LIGHTNING II are on the agenda.
The show will also have the demonstration of Chilean fighters, F-16s and F-5s, along with the exhibition of the F-22 RAPTOR from the USAF, presented for the third time at FIDAE.
