Land, Air and Naval solutions on Display
EXPAL is offering its solutions for the future requirements of all armed forces during FEINDEF in Madrid, 29-31 May, showing its broad range of capabilities through collaborative programmes and partnerships.
It will showcase its collaboration with Navantia and Elbit to offer TIZONA to the Spanish Army – a 30mm unmanned turret for the future DRAGON VCR 8X8. This state-of-the-art weapons system offers the army advanced capabilities in firepower and accuracy.
In addition, EXPAL will highlight its complete solution for indirect fire support missions, including: EIMOS, the integrated mortar system, which will be present at the show in its newest configuration; TECHFIRE, the fire support information system, in service in both infantry and artillery units; and extended range artillery ammunition with 40 km ranges.
Naval development programmes include the Multi-Option Fuze (MOFA EM 127) 5in/127mm artillery, intended for the future F-110 frigates. The first stage of the development programme has been completed: they will reduce and simplify relevant operations, enhance safety and improve platform air defence capabilities.
As part of the company’s proposal for Spanish and international air forces, EXPAL will focus on its long experience and strong engineering capabilities in integrating airborne weapons on to the Spanish Air Force’s EUROFIGHTERs. Similar services are offered for rotary- or fixed-wing platforms such as the C295, enhancing its air-to-surface capabilities, increasing its versatility, defensive power and accuracy.
