€75 Million for Composite Components for Lots 12-14
Northrop Grumman has awarded contracts to Kongsberg valued at NOK 800 million (€74.7 million) for composite components for the F-35 LIGHTNING II.
Previous quarters have seen incremental orders placed to the value of NOK 426 million. The latest agreement covers production lots 12-14 for the supply of composite fuselage panels and hatches for all variants of the F-35.
“This contract confirms Kongsberg‘s capabilities and strong position as a key supplier to the F-35 programme. We continue our more than 10 year-long relationship with Northrop Grumman providing continued production through 2022 in Kongsberg‘s facilities,” commented Terje Bråthen, Executive Vice President Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace AS.
