Expodefensa 2021: IMCO Focues on Terrain Dominance

Rapid Execution of Sensor-to-Shooter Cycle

IMCO Industries will be focusing attention on its tactical terrain dominance and HLS solutions at Expodefensa 2021 in Bogotá this week.

The company, and its partners, will show a tactical terrain dominance solution that combines multiple sensors and platforms to empower rapid execution of the sensor-to-shooter cycle. The solutions can combine manned and unmanned aerial, ground and maritime platforms and sensors, all managed by a central situation awareness video system (SAVS): this integrates and analyses the information received, clears the ‘battle fog,’ and supports decision-makers to safely and precisely achieve their mission objectives.

Some of the building blocks that on display include Blazes‘ MICRO FALCON – a lightweight mini-UAS with exceptional performance, Colugo Systems‘ ARCopter 1000 – a patented wind-proof VTOL enabling long endurance and long flight range, and Ex-Sight‘s remotely-controlled UGVs and USVs, and 3DV DVE, a stereoscopic head-mounted display.

The solution addresses the challenging requirement for an Area Access/Area Denial (A2/AD) solution, allowing a force to build a stand-in and stand-off common situational awareness picture to optimise the decision-making process. “As a leading group in the defence industry, IMCO Group provides system-level tactical solutions with unmatched performance for the defence, HLS and security markets. Our solutions allow any force to increase its lethality and survivability, and at the same time be smart, slim, and connected,” commented company CEO, Eitan Zait.

IMCO Group recently announced the acquisition of Innocon Ltd., an innovative Israeli developer and manufacturer of small UAS and mission systems for manned light airplanes. The newly-acquired unique technology will be integrated within the group and will benefit from IMCO’s global production, project management and marketing capabilities.
