Expodefensa 2017: JADARA – The Leader of Jordan´s Nascent Defence Industry

RPG-32 NASHSHAB, modular and versatile

We did the un-heard of in 2005, and co-developed Jordan´s first indigenous RPG with Russian partners,” declares Col. Eng. (Ret.) Ayman Mashouqah, General Director of JADARA Equipment and Defence Systems.

After the development and testing phases in 2009, JADARA started manufacturing its first series of RPGs – rocket propelled grenade launchers .” Today, JADARA produces two types of RPGs: one with JADARA´s own anti-tank round; and, another one with JADARA´s diabolical thermobaric rounds. The latest, the RPG-32 NASHSHAB is modular and versatile, to adapt to the mission as required. Two kinds of day sights are available, as well as night vision and a laser range finder – all hot-swappable. The RPG can be used safely in semi-confined spaces and is designed to be jam-free. Cost-effective, NASHSHAB has an extended range in its short-range category and is multi-use.
“We produce at maximum capacity 60,000 units per year,” confides Mashouqah.

To help end-users stay on target, JADARA offers a comprehensive package: the rounds, the sights the launcher, training and support – all designed, built and provided by JADARA.

We provide a comprehensive package for our customers with our two types of training simulation: first, is the laser version (with on screen targets); and, then graduate onto the actual RPG with authentic training rounds – the same weight, range, feel and sound as a live round,” assures Mashouqah.

There is also a remote weapon station using the RPG units There is the stand alone, tripod mounted Quad 1 with is integrated with JADARA C4ISTAR sensors and fire control system. Similarly, the Quad 2, is vehicle mounted.

Currently, JADARA is evaluating its own production sniper rifle (the J-9), and will have another major announcement at SOFEX 2018, next spring.

“We are going to be at just about every major international and regional exposition starting next year,” promises Mashouqah
