Exail to deliver hundreds of Advans Series navigation systems for major European ground-based radars

The Advans Series INS provides precise, real-time navigation and orientation data, even in GNSS-denied or electronically contested environments

Exail has been chosen by a major European systems integrator to supply hundreds of Advans Series Inertial Navigation Systems (INS). These advanced navigation systems will be integrated into next-generation ground-based radar platforms, supporting critical air and ground surveillance as well as border protection operations.

This partnership highlights the growing need for high-performance, non-GNSS dependent navigation solutions to ensure the continuity of critical defense and security missions. It also supports the long-term effectiveness of defense assets worldwide in an increasingly contested environment.

Advans Series INS enhances radar accuracy and operational resilience under electronic warfare and in the harshest environments,” said Régis Blomme, Commercial Director EMEA at Exail. “By providing reliable navigation and orientation data even when satellite signals are unavailable, it plays a critical role in maintaining the performance of next-generation radar platforms. This contract reflects the confidence placed in Exail to deliver technologies that sustain mission effectiveness and contribute to the technological edge required in today’s defense operations.”

The Advans Series INS, operating even without satellite signals, it enables radar systems to maintain accurate orientation and target tracking under jamming or spoofing conditions. Its compact design allows straightforward integration into existing radar platforms, supporting rapid deployment and continuous operation in diverse environments, from dense urban areas to remote regions and extreme weather conditions.

This contract reinforces Exail’s role as a strategic partner in defense. It builds on a track record of recent European successes in Poland, Spain, Germany, the Czech Republic, and the United Kingdom, and further consolidates Exail as a leading provider of advanced navigation solutions worldwide.
