Nest UAS Solution and Vehicle Integration Also on Show
XTEND will highlight the Xtender Gen2 indoor tactical UAS at Eurosatory next week, and offer an initial glimpse of the Wolverine Gen 2 multi-mission UAS (MMU).
The company will also showcase its nest UAS solution, integrated with Easy Aerial’s EGV 50 compact autonomous drone-nest solution for military vehicles and Plasan’s new Wilder ultralight armoured vehicle. The collaboration between the three companies brings new capabilities to the battlefield. Indoor and outdoor missions can now be safely conducted from within the vehicle, and tasks such as IED clearance remotely performed while on patrol.
In enhancing the Xtender’s Edge AI capabilities, XTEND has recently partnered with SightX, which is developing a mission-critical, real-time Edge AI engine, bringing revolutionary deep-learning capabilities to real-world problems. This collaboration enhances the autonomous capabilities of the Xtender platform, helping the human operator with detection and classification of entry points and objects.
“Working hand in hand with the world’s prime forces – XTEND continuously strives to enhance its offering and ‘Swiss Army Knife’ capability concept by providing multiple payloads and applications. Now, with the various launch and carrying options, such as armed vehicles nesting – we are pushing the boundaries of UAS mission capabilities even further,” explains Ido Baron, VP of Business Development and Sales.
